Peacefully, passed away at Golden Years, Cambridge on Saturday, July 20th, 2024. Bill Dobbie at the age of 82. Loving father of Paula Dobbie-Evans (Paul) and the late Bill Jr.(1986). Dear brother of Bob & Pat Dobbie, Bonnie & Michael Chow, Lynda Elliott, John & Diane Dobbie, Art & Marta Dobbie, Patricia & Claude Pelliter, Deborah Dobbie & Deb, Amy & Wayne Whetstone, Kim & Paul Davidson, and the late Barb Blondin, the late Bev McQuinn (Bud McQuinn) and the late Paul Dobbie. He will be sadly missed by his former wife Sandra Dobbie, sister-in-law Nancy Aikens (the late John Aikens) and by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Bill was a Past President and former active member of the Puslinch Optimist Club, a well-known painter and an extraordinary paper hanger. Friends may call at the Brombal Funeral Home & Cremation Care, One Delhi St. Guelph on Monday, July 29th from 12:30pm-2:00pm. Memorial Service at 2:00pm with a reception to follow. A private interment will be held at New Hope Cemetery, Cambridge. Memorial contributions to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Guelph Humane Society would be appreciated.
