‘Disgraceful’

RE: Secrecy and saving face, May 9.

Chris Daponte’s editorial could not have been more spot-on regarding the shenanigans going on at Erin Town Hall. It is disgraceful that these employees of the taxpayers are stonewalling a simple request that I suspect will reveal mismanagement at this organization.

There are no privacy issues here. A simple request of the amount of severances paid would have given us a pretty good picture of something smelly.

The mayor and council should not be supporting these actions and quite frankly any of them that did, should be turfed out in the next election. I have a right and want to know how my taxes are being spent.
