Suddenly as the result of a car accident on Saturday, May 27, 2023 in his 87th year. Beloved partner of Betty White. Predeceased by his partner, Joyce Sparks. Loving father of Debbie (Sue), Victor (Pamela), Audra (Peter); and step-father of Joyce’s children: Stacey (Christine), and Tracy (Francis). Cherished by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survived by his siblings: Enzo, Sue, Alfi and their families; and by Betty’s children: Rodney (Gaye), Kim, late Jeff (Lisa), and Veronica. Romano will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, especially his “automotive group” of friends. Predeceased by his sister, Mary. Romano enjoyed customizing vehicles as well as attending flea markets and automotive events to find parts. Above all, he enjoyed working in his garden and sharing the fruits of his labour. Visitation was held at the England Funeral Home, 294 Main Street South, Mount Forest, on Wednesday, May 31st from 2:00-4:00pm. A graveside service is being held at Brampton Memorial Gardens, 10061 Chinguacousy Road, Brampton, on Thursday, June 1st at 1:00pm. Donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
