DICKINSON, Mary Elizabeth (née: Hauck)
Passed away at her home in Fergus, Ontario on February 1, 2023. Beloved wife of Tom for 24 years. Loving mother of Amanda Rogers and Anna-May (Steven) St. Amand. Proud grandma of Cole and Liam. Mary is survived by her mother, Joyce Hauck, her siblings, Marie (Wayne) Massey, Linda Prickett (Bryan Young), Rose Hamilton (Ron Pinder), John Hauck, Joanne Hauck and Joseph (Dana) Hauck. She will be dearly missed by her brother-in-law, Ron Dickinson, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her father, Harry Hauck, her aunts, Veronica Melitzer and Therese Fraser, and her brother-in-law, Gary Dickinson. Mary was a longstanding member of Scouts Canada, with whom she was a proud leader for many years. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2023 from 6-8pm at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David Street South, Fergus. A private burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary’s memory may be made to Diabetes Canada, and are greatly appreciated by her family.
