DECOSTE, Edgar F.
Unexpectedly at the Louise Marshall Hospital on Tuesday, December 1st, 2020 at the age of 75. Cherished husband of Sylvia DeCoste (nee Sampson) for 57 years. Loving father of Wanda DeCoste and Phillip DeCoste. Dear grandfather of Daniel, Nadine (Tony), Hope, Cody (Samantha), Ekiaru and Simon and great-grandfather of Sawyer and Millie. Survived his sister Linda MacNeil. Predeceased by his son Edgar T. DeCoste, parents Albert and Maria DeCoste, and brother Donald DeCoste. Edgar was born and raised in Cape Breton and moved to Ontario in 1980. Cremation has taken place and a private interment will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you love one another in these difficult times. Edgar was passionate about animals and he and Sylvia have rescued many over the years.
