of Palmerston went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, September 13, 2026 at the Palmerston and District Hospital at the age of 85. Cherished husband of the late Maryke (Riemens) de Lange (2001). Dear father of Jacco and Alisa de Lange of Thornton and Chris and Lisa de Lange of Baden. Loving Opa of Keaton and Daniel Kloosterman, Mitch de Lange and Mark de Lange; Nicolas de Lange Zachary de Lange. Great Opa of Vivian and Cal. Brother of Cory and Ko Langebeeke, Riet and Ko Arendse, Leny and Jan Cevaal and Ko and Coby de Lange. Fondly remembered by the Riemens family, nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents Jacobus and Tannetje de Lange and siblings Adrie de Lange and Tiny Vos. The family will receive friends at the Palmerston Christian Reformed Church on Sunday, September 20, 2026 from 6:00 to 8:00pm. A private interment will be held in Harriston Cemetery prior to the Celebration of Life. The Celebration will be held in the Palmerston Christian Reformed Church on Monday, September 21, 2026 at 1:00pm. In lieu of and as expressions of sympathy donations to the Canadian Foodgrains or the Palmerston Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
