Dawn Tyler Watson to perform in Guelph Feb. 5

GUELPH - Montreal performer Dawn Tyler Watson will join Steve Strongman and Colin Lapsley as special guest for the Feb. 5  Steve Strongman Acoustic Blues Sessions.

Winner of the 2017 first-place prize at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Watson was recently awarded a Blues Blast Music Award for Female Artist of the Year.

Watson has also been nominated for four 2019 Canadian Maple Blues Awards including Best Album for her latest release Mad Love.

The 23rd Maple Blues Awards take place Feb. 3.

With more than two decades of performing arts in her playbook and five albums to her credit, Watson has earned her place among Canada’s Blues elite.

Her fiery stage presence has garnered national and international recognition.

The Feb. 5 show will take place at La Reina at 10 Wyndham St. N, Guelph.

Doors open at 7pm and the show begins at 8pm.
