DARLING, Joan Marie (nee Brooks)
Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Headwaters Health Care Centre on Thursday September 9, 2021, at the age of 80. Cherished and loving partner of James (2019). Loved mother of Doug (1990), Barry (Carol), Rick (Melody), Marianne Lennox (Andy) and Lisa O’Quinn. Proud grandma to Daniel (Carlene), Kevin (Alicia), Kari (Adam), Sarah (Jon), Paula, Melissa (Chadwick), Amy (Clayton) and Cody. Great grandma to 10. She will always be remembered by her siblings, Wray (Nancy), Georgina (Gerald), Don (Jackie), Jim (Nancy), Audrey (Jamie), Ken (Janice) and Len (Di) and by her siblings-in-law, Sharon, Stan, Lynn, Marj, Mary (Jim) and Betty. Predeceased by her parents George and Bertha Brooks, her brothers, Bob, Larry and Bryon, and her sister, Reta. She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends. A private family graveside service has taken place in Wingham, ON. Scheduled visitation will be held on Sunday September 19, 2021 from 1:00 - 4:00pm at In Memoriam Funeral Services, 28 Main Street, North, Grand Valley, Ontario.
