Danú coming to Guelph

GUELPH  – Irish ensemble Danú is set to perform An Emerald Isle Christmas at the Guelph River Run Centre on Dec. 5 at 8pm.

“The audience can expect a glorious mix of ancient Irish music alongside new repertoire, with the occasional dollop of wry Irish humour thrown in,” say officials.

For three decades, Danú has been peforming lively music featuring flute, tin whistle, fiddle, bodhran, uilleann pipe, button accordion, bouzouki, guitar and vocals in English and Irish Gaelic.

This show is part of the Sleeman-Spring Mill Music Series, supported by Sleeman Breweries and Spring Mill Distillery. This performance is also supported by Show Sponsor Knar Jewellery, Season Sponsor Richardson Wealth and federal funding.
