DADD, Mary Elizabeth (née Smith)
It is with profound love and great sadness that the family of Mary Elizabeth Dadd, of Guelph, announces her passing on May 26, 2026, at Groves Memorial Hospital, at the age of 85. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Allan Richard, and will be forever remembered and cherished by her children, Terry Billings (Brad) of Ariss, Lynn Denny (Jamie) of Fergus, and Kyle Dadd (Jen) of Ancaster along with his former spouse, Amanda. Mary was a devoted grandmother to Jarrett (Sam), Kady (Ryan), Jordan (Suzie), Adam (Sabrina), Ryan (Dayna), Zachary (Emily), Harrison, Sullivan (Mizzi), and Paisley. Loving and proud great-grandmother to Tye (along with his mother Shannon and her husband John), Hudson, Lincoln, Raelynn, Colton, Cooper, Anderson and Hailey. Mary was a woman of tremendous faith and left behind a great legacy of family, which was her greatest joy. She will be deeply missed, though we are comforted that she is together again with Dad, passed on but never forgotten. Please join us to remember and celebrate her life at Wall-Custance Funeral Home & Chapel, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph from 11:00am – 12:00pm, on Thursday, June 4, 2026. Funeral service will begin at 12:00pm. Reception to follow in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre. Donations can be made in her memory to Make-A-Wish Canada, or the charity of your choice.
