CUTTING, Marion

Passed away peacefully at Wellington Terrace, Fergus, on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 in her 80th year. Beloved daughter of the late Edward and Mary Cutting. Dear sister of Calva Rodgers, Nancy (Jim) Jackson, Brian Cutting, and Wayne (Heidi) Cutting. Remembered by many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by brothers Norman, Ivan, Earl and Grant, and brother-in-law Winston Rodgers. Marion spent her working life caring for children and doing housekeeping. In later years, she moved in with her mother and thoroughly enjoyed the many years together. Marion’s passions included reading, playing hand-held arcade games, knitting and making Afghans for family and friends. She delighted in decorative ornaments that danced and played songs. The family would like to extend a thank you to the staff of St. Joseph’s Health Care, Guelph, and Wellington Terrace, Fergus, for their care and compassion. A celebration of Marion’s life will be held in the spring. Details will be announced on the funeral home website.
