John Gordon Cummings, formerly of Clifford, passed away at Louise Marshall Hospital, Mount Forest, on Thursday, June 18, 2026 in his 89th year. Husband of the late Brenda (Graham) Cummings. Father of Mollie & Robert Loughran of Arthur, and Amy Cummings of Toronto, and grandfather of Graham and Bailey. Brother of Thomas & Ruth Ann Cummings of R.R. 2, Clifford, and remembered also by many nieces and nephews and their families. John worked for 35 years in the Co-op system, from salesman to manager. He was well-liked in all of the community groups he participated in, from coaching ball and curling to organizing birding group trips. His friendships have lasted from highschool onward. The stories he could tell! The funeral service was held at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Tuesday, June 23 at 3:00pm with visitation from 1:00pm until time of service.
