CULFORD, Elizabeth
88, of Fergus, Ontario, passed away on 4/21/2023 in Elmira, Ontario. Elizabeth is survived by her daughters Heather Culford of Guelph, and Lynne Burton of Guelph, sons Craig Culford of Fergus, and Larry Culford of London, brother Alec Craig of Barrow-In-Furness, England, grandsons Jonathon Culford of London, James Culford of London, Michael Culford of Hamilton, Scott Burton of Shelburne, Brian Burton of Guelph, David Culford of Fergus, and granddaughters Emma Culford of Fergus, and Sarah Paethke of Kitchener. Elizabeth is preceded in death by her husband Richard Culford, and sister Jean Craig. Elizabeth was born in Barrow-In-Furness, England, to Henry Craig and Isabella Craig on 7/25/1934. She went on to earn a Certificate as a Nurse Aide. She worked as a Nurse Aide for many years at various Nursing Homes, including the Wellington Terrace in Elora. Funeral service will be held at Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home (280 St. David St. South, Fergus), on 4/27/2023 at 1pm. Burial will follow at Belsyde Cemetery, Fergus. Graham A.Giddy Funeral Homes will be handling the funeral arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
