CRUDEN, John Robert
Peacefully, at the Southampton Care Centre, on Friday, April 26, 2019 in his 81st year. John, beloved husband of Sharon (nee Cudney). Loving father of Dana (Joe Hauck), Julie Lapp (Mike Morrison), and Amanda Cruden (Cory Maxwell). Proud grandfather of Kaylee and Jacob Hauck, Cassandra and Brian Morrison, and Addison and Emily Maxwell. Dear brother of Shirley (David Austen). John will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. John loved farming and farmed for over 50 years in Wellington County. He was an avid sports fan, especially for the Toronto Maple Leafs and Blue Jays. A celebration of John’s life will be held on Sunday, June 2, 2019 from 1:00pm – 4:00pm at the Fergus Royal Canadian Legion, 500 Blair Street. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the T.A. Brown Funeral Home, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin,with memorial online.
