Crosswalks are for safety
Dear Editor:
Minto town council has received a request from the local Pride committee that colourful Pride crosswalks be installed in the communities of Clifford, Harriston and Palmerston.
Cross walks are designed for crossing a street safely.
Painted symbols from special interest groups on our streets are distractions. Safety and harmony for all citizens is unnecessarily put at risk.
