COX, Brandon Edward
of Clifford, Ontario, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at the age of 24. A man with a heart of gold, he was passionate about all things with horsepower. Throughout his life you would find him on dirt bikes and horses, and in mud trucks and racecars. He loved it so much he even put a motorcycle engine in a lawnmower. He had all of us on the edge of our seat since the day he was born; he worked hard and played hard, and always tried to convince us that “his foot slipped” when there were plumes of smoke and burnout marks everywhere. Predeceased by step-father John Harper, maternal grandfather Donald Cox and paternal grandmother Alice Hartlen. Fiance of Katelyn Haddow. Loving father of Aubree. Son of Jacqueline Cox and Herbert Hartlen (Shelley Campbell). Brother of Jessica Herrington, Matthew Cox-Smith, and Natasha Roberts (Gerry O’Keefe). Grandson of Bruce Hartlen and Joan Cox. Nephew of Robert Cox (Jeanette Day). Son-in-law-to-be of Lousie Dafoe (John Noble), and Steve Haddow (Debbie vonEuw). Brandon will be greatly missed by many family and friends. Visitation was held at Hard-Lee Funeral Home on August 23. Private funeral was held on August 24 followed by interment at Harriston Cemetery.
