WELLINGTON COUNTY – County of Wellington chief administrative officer Scott Wilson, right, was in Ottawa on Nov. 22 to receive a King Charles III Coronation Medal, which was presented by Senator Rob Black, left. The award, which commemorates the coronation of King Charles III, honours individuals who have made significant contributions to Canada or to a particular province, territory, region or community of Canada or have made an outstanding achievement abroad that brings credit to Canada. “Through the hard work and actions of Scott Wilson, in front and behind the scenes, he has brought honour to his community, our province and nation,” Black stated in a news release. County Warden Andy Lennox congratulated Wilson in the release, calling him a “dedicated municipal public servant for over 40 years.”
