It seemed a non-issue as Erin councillors endorsed a variance to its sign bylaw to allow a new Tim Hortons location here in excess of two signs.
The matter at Erin council late last month was brief.
Shortly after Mayor Lou Maieron asked if there were any questions, council passed a resolution that it had no objections to the Tim Hortons request.
There will be one extra sign on the property, Maieron said.
Though facing Erin’s main street, the entrance is from either the back or through the medical clinic parking lot to the side of the Tim Hortons.
In total, there would be two signs on the building itself and a pylon sign near the front of the property.
The motion carried.
