Puslinch council is moving discussion of the Ren’s Pets Depot expansion to a special meeting on April 1.

Ren’s is seeking a zoning amendment (from residential to commercial) to accommodate a  25,000 square foot expansion of its existing warehouse on Brock Road in Aberfoyle.

Originally, the discussion was slated for March 19.

However, as a result of late correspondence and a resident request to be a delegation regarding the issue, CAO Karen Landry recommended the issue be moved to a special meeting of council.

The meeting would be on a Tuesday, unlike council meetings, which are typically held on Wednesdays.

Landry added “if anyone else intends to be a delegation at this meeting, we would really appreciate letting us know as soon as possible so that we can include you on the agenda.”
