ROCKWOOD – Council has voted to extend the no parking signage along the inside of the Sammon Drive bend southbound from Harris Street to Gagnon Place due to community complaints.
The decision was made at a Sept. 22 council meeting after complaints were received due to cars being parked along the bend, minimizing visibility and posing a safety risk to drivers and pedestrians.
Signs are expected to go up in the next few weeks.
