BRUCEDALE – Guelph/Eramosa council has awarded a tender for the Mill Road rehabilitation to Cox Construction Limited for $768,778, not including HST.

The 2026 budget included a capital project for the rehabilitation of Mill Road, from Watson Road to Wellington Road 38.

Six bids were received for the work ranging from $768,778 to $1,281,073.

The 2026 capital budget for the project is $705,000 which includes geotechnical and engineering fees.

Including construction costs, design, geotechnical investigation, contract administration, inspection, geotechnical testing and permit fees, the total project cost is estimated at approximately $925,000, exceeding the approved budget.

The project will be funded via the Canada Community Building Fund.
