Council awards $160,000 tender for earthworks at Brucedale municipal office
BRUCEDALE – Council has awarded a tender for earthworks at the Brucedale municipal office location to Cox Construction Limited for $158,828 before HST.
The 2026 budget included earthworks for berm relocation/construction, a gravel laydown area and fencing and yard lighting in the rear portion of the township property.
The Township received 30 bids for the work ranging from $771,126 to $158,828.
The 2026 capital budget included $380,000 for the project, which is now expected to cost $331,632, including;
– earthworks, $161,623;
– fencing, $70,000;
– lighting, $50,000; and
– engineering, $50,000.
The project will be funded through the Infrastructure Renewal Reserve Fund.
