Dear Editor:

RE: Eight names from Rockwood cenotaph yet to be placed on street signs, Oct. 14.

Why would Guelph/Eramosa councillor Corey Woods and Mayor Chris White think Rockwood is not a place to grow? It is. And cost is insignificant for street names.

To even mention our taxes on heritage signs is appalling. Our veterans deserve more than that. Why would they agree to or not fight against such an ignorant claim even if it doesn’t amount to much?

And they pretend to represent us and our heritage. We’re free because of our veterans.
