COSENS, Frances Loreen (Waite)

Of Goderich, and formerly of Maryborough Township, passed away at Southbridge Goderich on Thursday, September 17, 2026. Her journey is now complete after 102 years. Predeceased by her husband Sheldon, parents Harold and Linda (Elliott) Waite, sister Pearl, brothers Arthur, Wilbert, Wilfred, and John, and by her grandson Micah. Cherished mother of Loreen & Bill Ambler of London, June & Peter Walinga of Berkeley, Bruce & Shirley Cosens of Harriston, and Viola & Ross Miller of Bayfield. Loved Grandma of Scott & Bev Ambler, Carol & Peter Wade, Jane Ambler, Susan Ambler, Peter & Julie Walinga, Adam & Wendy Cosens, Katy & Dwayne Groshaw, Joshua & Kristen Cosens, Craig & Julielynn Miller, and Holly Miller. She will be missed by fifteen great-grandchildren, two precious great-great-grandsons, and by her sister-in-law Barbara Waite of Mount Forest. Mom’s warmth, smile, gardens, her delicious meals and her love for her family were hallmarks of a life well lived. She will forever be remembered. Our family is grateful for the loving care given by Viola and the staff at Harbour Hill and Southbridge during her final years. Family and friends gathered at Knox Presbyterian Church, Listowel, on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 from 10:00am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00am. Reception followed.
