Corn roast/ eating contest at local fair
PALMERSTON – The Minto Farmers Market is hosting a Corn Roast and Corn on the Cob Eating Contest at the Palmerston Fall Fair on Aug. 27.
Sweet corn on the cob will be served for $2 a cob at the fair from 3 to 9pm.
The corn eating contest is set for 6:30pm. Participants can sign up at the door, outside the Palmerston arena on Aug 17.
