CORDES, Ronald Irwin

Miss him already. Forever in our hearts and minds. He was a humorous man, a fierce man, an intelligent man, and a loving man. He was an adventurous world traveler, pilot, sailor, pyramid climber, and much, much more. He had integrity, was honest, and the protector of his family. The man who used to say, “Are you listening?!” He leaves behind his loving wife, Dolores, and six children; Patricia Whitechurch (Jim), Paul (Laurie), Brian (Annette), Howard (Wendy), Marion MacRae (Shane), and Linda Wong (K.C.). He also leaves behind a brother Johnny. He is predeceased by his daughter Donna Page (John), and granddaughter Jessica Saunders (Wes). He is also predeceased by his two sisters, Norma Taylor and Joan Sorbara, and brother Bruce Cordes. He leaves behind eighteen grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren. When the Lord said, “Go forth and multiply,” Dad took it literally. Dad loved the cottage and sailing around the lake. During dad’s illness, we came to know the wonderful staff at St. Joseph’s Health Center. They laughed with us, cried with us, and gave dad the best support we could have ever asked for. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Ron’s Life will be announced at a later date.
