COLLIN, Dorothy Elizabeth (nee Wright)

The path we are given is not ours to choose, but how we travel the path is ours for the taking. Dorothy travelled her path with purpose and a joy for life. A graduate from the University of Guelph, she remained in close contact with her alumni. A strong member of her community, Dorothy was actively involved in the Fergus Food Bank, Probus, Elora Arts Council, Mississauga Potters Guild, Ontario Bed and Breakfast Association and her Melville United Church community. Dorothy was an accomplished potter and loved running Maple Crest Farm Bed and Breakfast. Dorothy thrived with her long standing friendships both new and old, and embraced the zoom world with vigour, to stay in touch with all. She left us peacefully at home in her favourite chair on Mother’s Day morning. Survived by Cathy, Jennifer and Martha and her seven grandchildren, Christopher, Collin, Curtis, Jaden, Sam, Emily and Eric. Sister to John (deceased), Jim and Richard Wright. She joins her husband George Collin and daughter Sarah Christine in forever peace and happiness. A celebration of life to toast Dorothy will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be given to the Fergus Foodbank or Melville United Church.
