Clifford Horticultural Society holds annual plant and bake sale on May 10

Members of the Clifford and District Horticultural Society dug up their extra plants and flowers for the annual plant sale on May 10 at the Rotary Pavilion Park in Clifford. Many others also brought along some baking to sell as well.

The annual membership canvass is winding up. Anyone who has not yet been contacted by a canvasser, may call president Vic Palmer at 327-8142. The membership fee is $5 per person. This money helps the society with government funding, presenting programs, and beautifying the community.

The flower show will be held on May 24 at the community hall. Doors will be open at 6:30pm for viewing before the meeting starts at 7:30pm. Everyone is welcome to attend. Refreshments will be served.
