Clifford church hosts annual fish fry
Rainbow trout was on the menu for this year’s fish fry hosted by the Knox United Church on July 3 at the community hall in Clifford.
Dave and Jim Hockley, of Blue Mountain Catering of Collingwood, cooked fish for 300 people.
Ellen Underwood and her team provided baked potatoes, carrots, corn, coleslaw and all the fixings to create a fish fry feast.
A silent auction featured such items as an airplane ride, clothing, a basket of pasta, glassware, plants, preserves, and gift certificates.
Members and guests of Knox and Alsfeldt worship at 10am on Sundays during July at Knox in Clifford and at Alsfeldt for August.
