Clerk no longer with Wellington County
A little over a month after receiving recognition for 20 years of employment, Clerk Donna Van Wyck is no longer employed by Wellington County.
Officials are saying little about why she is gone.
Chief Administrative Officer Scott Wilson said in an interview on Tuesday only that Van Wyck “is no longer employed with the county. I don’t have anything else I can tell you.”
Warden Joanne Ross-Zuj added that for now, she is unable to say anything about the circumstances of Van Wyck’s departure.
“I can tell you that anything we could say would come out of Human Resources,” she said.
A message left with Andrea Lawson, the head of Human Resources, was not returned. The Advertiser’s attempts to reach Van Wyck were also unsuccessful.
