CENTRE WELLINGTON – Nurse practitioner Chantelle Koeslag, second from left, was named this year’s recipient of the Neil Dunsmore Power of One Award, which recognizes an individual in the county whose actions have made a significant contribution toward suicide prevention. The award is named in honour of Dunsmore, left, who walked from Elora to Ottawa in 2020 to share the message that people must not stay silent about mental illness and suicide. Dunsmore was on hand to present the award to Koeslag during the Sept. 26 county council meeting, along with Warden Andy Lennox, second from right, and director of human resources Susan Farrelly, right.
