HILLSBURGH – Twist opened on March 9 to an enthusiastic audience that gave the production a standing ovation.
As the title implies, this comedy/thriller offers a plot with many intriguing twists and turns that culminate in the most unexpected ending, officials say.
The plot revolves around Dave Wood (Jason Riedel), a wannabe detective novel author and his soap opera star wife, Sarah Seeton (Amanda Philip).
Added to the mix are Robert, David’s brother and Sarah co-star (Dave Lee), along with a South African diamond smuggler (Janessa Doherty), a saucy landlady (Rhonda Hewitson) and a determined detective (Jerry Mouchian).
At the opening, David has returned from six weeks in Paris where he spent his time writing his fourth book – an expose this time, with his wife as the subject character. Mayhem ensues when David decides his book will enjoy far greater success if Sarah was dead.
Needless to say, things go wrong and the plot twists and turns to a shocking ending, officials state.
Officials call Twist a “must see” production with performances on March 15, 21 and 22 at 7pm and March 16 and 23 at 2pm.
