Spring ready – The Centre Wellington Seedy Saturday took place on March 16 at the Wellington County Museum and Archives in the Aboyne Hall. The event involved a number of seed and garden-related vendors. CLOCKWISE FROM TOP LEFT: Seedy Saturday was supported by the Guelph Wellington Master Gardeners, Elora Salem Horticultural Society and the Fergus Horticultural Society. From left: Elora Salem Horticultural Society president Dudley Foster and event co-organizers Katherine Granger of all three organizations and Liz Redshaw of the Fergus Horticultural Society. Any money raised will go towards next year’s Seedy Saturday; DorLisa Loney and Tim Gerrie were on site representing Gerrie’s Garden Centre and Farm Market, located in Elora; Joanna Baars of Arthur Greenhouses was selling seeds, bulbs and plants; and John and Tracy MacMullin of Ever Smiles Gardens in Fergus were selling their wares.     Photos by Jaime Myslik
