Centre Wellington confirms two heritage designations in Elora
On May 30, Centre Wellington officially confirmed designation of the properties municipally known as 33 Henderson Street and 48 West Mill Street, to be a properties of cultural heritage value under the Ontario Heritage Act.
Centre Wellington’s managing director of planning and development Brett Salmon explained this was part of a process which began earlier this year as council approved staff’s recommendation to state its intention to designate the property known as 33 Henderson Street and 48 West Mill Street.
Salmon said no objections were raised and now the bylaws are ready to be passed.
Councillor subsequently passed the bylaws.
