Platinum anniversary – What started out to be a celebration for Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee turned out to be a celebration of her life. On Sept. 25 the Royal Canadian Legion Fergus Branch 275 held a celebration at the Wellington County Museum and Archives. The Lieutenant Governor of Ontario Elizabeth Dowdeswell was invited to attend. Platinum anniversary – What started out to be a celebration for Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee turned out to be a celebration of her life. On Sept. 25 the Royal Canadian Legion Fergus Branch 275 held a celebration at the Wellington County Museum and Archives.

Dowdeswell visited all the tables and came across seven-year-old Della Gazzola from Fergus all dressed up like a Royal Guard.
