Cat issue

Dear Editor:

My two-year-old female cat “Lacey” was a rescue kitten from my son’s friend’s farm.

She was only five weeks old and had fallen into a pail of oil. My son took her home and cleaned her up  and said, “If you don’t take her I’ll have to take her back to the farm” - even though I have a 9-year-old “Gracey” who I got eight years ago from Cats Anonymous in Marsville. They get along fine.

Lacey will visit people when they come to my place, but Gracey is shy.

Lacey started to overgroom herself about six months ago. I have been to the vet and tried sprays, foam and changing her food, but to no avail. Is there someone else having the same problem? I’d love to hear from you.
