CASSEL, Arthur Sylvester
Passed away peacefully at Louise Marshall Hospital in Mount Forest, on September 27, 2019 in his 95th year. Beloved husband of Elsie Lively. Predeceased by wife Rose and his son Rodney in 2016. Father of Judi (Doug), Brenda, Dennis (Linda), Wendy (Tim) and father-in-law to Shirley. Survived by his 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, brothers Lloyd, Joe and sister Sheila Etmanski. Predeceased by his siblings Doris Hahn, Edmond, Elgin, Mike, Mary Cybulskie, Bill and Murray and parents Herb and Coletta Cassel. Art enlisted in the Canadian Armed Forces in 1944 with the Princess Louise Dragoon Guards. Friends were received at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. South in Fergus, on October 1st, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00pm. Funeral Service was conducted in the Funeral Home Chapel, on October 2nd, 2019 at 11:00am. Interment took place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Guelph, Ontario. Memorial donations can be directed to the Louise Marshall Hospital in Mount Forest, Ontario.
