CARRICK, Olive Marion (née Maltby)
Passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, August 6th, 2022 in her 98th year. Dear sister of Raymond Maltby of Barrie, David Maltby of Brantford and Deborah Cleland of Port Elgin. Predeceased by her beloved husband Richard Carrick and her brothers Bruce and Edgar Maltby. She will be deeply missed by her loving children Sheila Carrick-Langford (Edward), Nancy Mattes (Joe), Barbara Reed (Gordon), Bruce Carrick (Judy), and her eleven grandchildren: Sarah Langford (Tommy), Megan Mattes, Simon Langford, Caitlin Reed, Rachael Sypkes (Joel), Duncan Langford, Gillian Reed, Drew Carrick, Sam Mattes, Spencer Carrick, and Nathaniel Reed. A visitation will be held at St. John’s Anglican Church, 112 Guelph Street, Rockwood, on Saturday, August 13th from 10 - 11am. The funeral service will follow at 11am with a reception afterwards. In lieu of flowers, a donation in memory of Olive to St. John’s Anglican Church would be appreciated by the family.
