CARPENTER, James Everett
1936 - 2020 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Jim Carpenter. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Bessie Carpenter, children Heather (Paul) Sweet, Jim (Denise) Carpenter, Robert (Bonnie) Carpenter and Kathy Carpenter. Grandchildren Karenda, Karley, Daryl, Kate, Hayley, Adam, Daniel, Kathaleen and Evan. Great grandfather to Tamaya, Owen and Liam. Sister Joan Marinier, nieces Lori and Luann, Brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws and many nieces and nephews in Nova Scotia who held a special place in his heart. Jim was a proud Veteran of The Royal Canadian Navy, and retiree from Moore Business Forms in Fergus. There will be a private family service held at The Graham Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David Street South, Fergus. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Heart and stroke Foundation or The Royal Canadian Legion would be much appreciated by the family. Jim was a great storyteller, comedian, listener and friend to many. He will be missed by many passerby in the community.
