Caressant Care residents visit Belmore Maple Syrup Festival

Activities assistant Jaylene Roswell invited residents, staff and volunteers from the Caressant Care Nursing Home in Harriston to board a bus on April 6 and head to the Belmore Maple Syrup Festival.

Participants were led off the bus with the help of festival volunteers and ushered into the main floor where their reserved table was waiting.

Soon plates filled with pancakes and sausage were delivered to the table and the maple syrup was ready for pouring and tasting.

After breakfast, some sat in the audience to listen to the country and western music live on stage, while others toured the rooms to see the vendors and their wares.

Homecoming

With Belmore celebrating a homecoming June 23, 24 and 25, there was a lot of activity around their information booth.

Clifford will be celebrating a homecoming Aug. 4 to 7 and their souvenir booth was quite busy as well.
