CENTRE WELLINGTON – Hot off the heels of his recent western Canadian tour, crooner Matt Dusk is set to bring his show, Matt Dusk Sings Tony Bennett, to Ontario with a 15-date run beginning on Oct. 24.

“Performing in Ontario is so special to me. It’s like I get to perform to a hometown crowd every night,” Dusk stated from his home in Toronto.

The show promises to captivate audiences with Dusk’s exceptional vocal range and pay tribute to the enduring legacy of Tony Bennett, officials say.

A lifelong admirer of Bennett, Dusk fondly recalls their friendship, formed in the Las Vegas showroom they shared, where the late crooner imparted valuable career advice.

Matt Dusk Sings Tony Bennett celebrates Bennett’s memory and follows the success of his previous show, Matt Dusk Sings Sinatra, which enjoyed sold-out performances in over 70 Canadian and U.S. cities, officials say.

The new show is a musical journey through Bennett’s timeless hits, including “I Left My Heart in San Francisco,” “The Way You Look Tonight” and “The Good Life.”

“Tony Bennett was an idol for me growing up, and I’m thrilled to create the very first show to pay homage to such a legend,” stated Dusk.

“Stepping on stage with a smokin’ band, performing these timeless hits, is about the music, the musicians, and the memories from the man who was swingin’ in every era.”

Matt Dusk is a platinum-awarded Canadian vocalist, composer, and producer whose music blends jazz, pop, and blues. His career catapulted in 2004 with the release of his debut album, Two Shots, which earned him multiple awards and nominations.

Some of his most well-known hits include Good News, Back In Town, All About Me and his iconic rendition of My Funny Valentine.

Dusk will be in Fergus on Nov. 10 performing at the Fergus Grand Theatre.
