Canada Day Street Market returns to Arthur June 27
ARTHUR – The annual Canada Day Street Market is returning June 27, presented by Walker Industries and hosted by the Arthur Chamber of Commerce and the Township of Wellington North.
It will take place 9am to 2pm along Charles Street East in Arthur and admission is free.
The family-friendly event will feature a pancake breakfast by The Tipsy Fox Arthur from 9 to 11am, over 45 local artisans, kids’ activities, food trucks and live music.
Schedule
9am – Sam and Robin Music will open the market with O Canada;
9am to 11am – pancake breakfast, $10, hosted by the Tipsy Fox Arthur at the market;
9am to 12pm – Sam and Robin perform live music;
9am to 2pm – add your face to a market mural and enter to win one of four raffle prizes;
9am to 2pm – the Walker booth is hosting a seedling planting activity;
9am to 2pm – Brighten Up Toys and Games is hosting a kids’ activity booth;
9am to 2pm – Painted Mamma Face Painting;
9am to 2pm – the Arthur library booth has temporary tattoos, prizes and a craft and scavenger hunt at the library;
9am to 2pm – race a mini indy car, play games and pet a horse at Arthur Pentecostal Assembly;
9am to 2pm – cornhole;
11am to 12pm – bracelet making at Josie’s Knick Knack Shack (free with donation);
11am – the winner of a $250 gift card will be announced at the BIA booth; and
2pm – market closes.
