Canada Day party in Minto June 26
MINTO - Fireworks will light up the night in Harriston to celebrate Canada’s birthday a little early this year.
Councillor Judy Dirksen reported at the June 7 Minto council meeting that Crossroads Life Church in Harriston will once again be hosting a Canada Day celebration.
The event will be held on June 26, the Sunday before Canada Day (July 1). with festivities to begin at 6pm and fireworks at dusk.

“Everyone’s welcome to attend. This is a huge undertaking. It’s a lot of volunteers and resources required and it’s a wonderful service to the community, and it is absolutely free,” Dirksen stated.
