Unexpectedly at home, passed away on April 30, 2026 at the age of 67. Dave leaves behind his devoted wife of 36 years, Belinda Camidge. He was a proud and supportive father to his two children, Samantha (Andrew) White and DJ (Hilary) Camidge. He was known as Pappy to four grandchildren Jack, Charlie, Cooper and Lexi. Dave is survived by his sister Linda Hearn and is predeceased by his sister Paula Seifried. Dave will be missed by his many nieces and nephews. Dave will be remembered as a good‑humoured man who loved baseball, hockey, and the simple joy of understanding how things worked. A natural tinkerer and a reliable hand, he could fix just about anything and was always there to help when someone was in a bind. His jokes came easily and he loved to get a rise out of his family. Dave moved through life at his own pace, happiest with a fishing rod in hand and his family beside him on the boat. He was employed for more than 25 years at Imperial Tobacco in Guelph. Above all, he’ll be remembered for his warmth, his curiosity, and the moments he shared with the people he loved. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements were entrusted to Graham A.
