Business expansion results in new purchase in Fergus industrial park
On Aug. 29, following a closed session, Centre Wellington councillors authorized the sale of a 2.6 acre parcel of township owned industrial land at 151 Gregson Court in Fergus to Brent Renton of Wellington Perforated Sheet and Plate. The property was sold for $188,500.
Mayor Linton said “this is good News about another industry that wants to buy property in Fergus.”
At the end of the council session Linton explained the company will be moving its operations from Dickson Street to Gregson Court.
The relocation will allow for expanded operations by the company.
