Of Waterloo passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 in his 49th year. Father of Abbygail Burgess. Son of Barb & Jim Potts of Clifford, and Lenard & Ellie Burgess of Pickering. Brother of Dwayne and Melanie Burgess of Belleville, Pam Potts of Hamilton, and Tammy and Jack Greenley of Clifford, and stepbrother of Donald Potts of Oshawa. Loved and remembered by his nieces and nephews Sage Burgess & Kelli-Ann, Ayrika & Jake Patterson, Olivia Marshall, Taylor Greenley, and Cooper Greenley, by his aunts and uncles Doug & Doreen Gould, Dave & Colleen Gould, Josephine & Morris Zafra, and Carol Chestnut, by his cousins, and especially by his dog Eve.  Predeceased by his aunt Gail Bailey and uncle Steven Bailey, and by his Gould and Burgess grandparents. Dennis worked at Home Hardware, St. Jacobs for 21 years. Visitation was held at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Sunday, January 14, 2024 from 1:00 until 4:00pm, where the funeral service was held on Monday, January 15, 2024 at 11:00am. Reception followed at the Harriston Legion. Interment in Clifford Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Kidney Foundation or Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
