BUCKTON, Wilfred Frederick
1926 – 2019 Passed away peacefully on Friday, February 15th, 2019 in his 93rd year. He leaves behind his loving wife Helen (Grimoldby) of over 70 years and their children Helen (Tim) Meyers, Blanche (Brian) Ward, Ruthann (Darrell) O’Donnell, Randy (Vi) Buckton, Sheila (Craig) Kunderman, Tina (Paul) Buckton, Tim, Shannon (James) Buckton. Proud grandfather to 19 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and his loving cat Whitey. Predeceased by daughter Sherry (Ron) Miller and many other loved ones. A special uncle remembered by many nieces and nephews. He will be genuinely missed by all who knew him. Family was everything to Fred and he devoted his whole life to his family. Funeral Service for Fred was conducted at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. South in Fergus, on Tuesday, February 19th, 2019 at 1:00pm, with visitation from 11:00am. Interment at the Elora Cemetery. Memorial donations can be directed to the Groves Memorial Community Hospital Foundation.
