BROWN, (Marjorie) Joanne (nee Lloyd)
Peacefully with her family by her side on April 19, 2022 in her 88th year. Cherished mother of Barbara (Bill Kempers) of Caledon; Rick (Audrey) of Lacombe, AB; Diane (Peter Rooyakkers) of Belwood; and Cindy (Ed Moynes), of Lindsay. Lovingly remembered by seventeen (17) grandchildren and thirty-three (33) great grandchildren. Survived by sister Suzanne (Boyce Stevens) of Harriston. Predeceased by her husband John Brown (2008); Parents Norm (1991) and Marjorie (1990); Brothers Paul Lloyd (2004), Thomas Lloyd (2008); and granddaughter Marianne Rooyakkers (2012). As per Joanne’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Private memorial service to follow. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at Groves Memorial Hospital for all their endless care in making mom comfortable. Also, a big thank you goes out to the staff and friends at Heritage River over the last 8 years. Words cannot express the gratitude we have as a family. As expressions of sympathy, please spend time with those you love and enjoy a piece of cake.
