BROWN, Irene (nee: Parkes)

formerly of England, U.K and Brampton, ON passed away peacefully on February 21, 2019 at the Wellington Terrace in Fergus, ON. Beloved wife of the late Gerald Brown (1978). Dear mother of Janet Irvine (Frank) and Linda Brown (Mic Audet). Cherished grandmother of Drew and Alec Irvine. Irene will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sisters Lottie and Gertie. The family wish to extend their great thanks to the staff at the Wellington Terrace for their compassionate care for Irene. Family and friends may visit at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David. St. South, Fergus on Friday, March 1, 2019 from 11:00am to 1:00pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 1:00pm. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimers Society or Salvation Army.
