Of Drayton passed away suddenly as a result of a heart attack at his residence on Friday, August 18, 2023 in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Linda (Bolduc) for 58 years. Dear father of Dianne and Shawn Smith of Drayton. Loving grandfather of Jessica and Brooke Smith. Brother of Barbara Waite of Mount Forest. Brother-in-law of Glen and Mary Brunkard of Waterloo. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents Cecil and Agnes Brimblecombe, sister Joan Brunkard brother Steven Brimblecombe and brother-in-law John Waite. The family received friends at the Drayton Reformed Church, Wellington Street South, Drayton on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00pm. A Memorial Service of Remembrance will be held in the Drayton Reformed Church on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at 11:00am. Conestoga Lodge 295 will conduct a Masonic Service in the Heritage Funeral Home, Drayton on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at 7:00pm. Order of the Eastern Star Peace Chapter # 52 will conduct an Eastern Star Service in the Heritage Funeral Home, Drayton on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at 7:30pm. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Palmerston Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated by the family.
